Where did you get my details?
Who we are
Memoria Digital designs modern websites for local service businesses. We email a small number of businesses whose websites we think could be improved, with a link to a free concept preview we made for them.
How we found you
We only use information that is already public:
- Public business listings and maps data (for example OpenStreetMap, which is published under the Open Database Licence)
- The business's own public website, including contact details it publishes there for enquiries
We do not buy email lists, and we do not collect details from private sources. We email a business address that the business itself publishes for enquiries.
What we hold about you
- Your business name, category, and location
- The business email address or website you publish publicly
- A screenshot of your public website and the concept preview we made from it
- A record of when we emailed you and whether you replied or opted out
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law. If you ask us to stop, we keep a minimal opt-out record so we do not contact you again.
Why we emailed you
Because we believe a concept preview of an upgraded site may be relevant and useful to your business. Our legal basis for contacting a business at its published business address is legitimate interest. We aim to follow the marketing rules that apply where you are (for example Singapore’s Spam Control Act and PDPA), and every message includes an opt-out.
Your choices
- Stop all contact and delete your details — takes under a minute.
- Reply “remove” to any email from us.
- Email [email protected] to ask what we hold, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
The concept preview we sent is an unsolicited design idea. We are not affiliated with your business, and the preview is not published or indexed. If you would like us to remove it, tell us and we will.
